What does school branding and signage include?

School branding and signage is everything a parent, student or visitor reads on a campus: the name on the gate, the reception crest wall, motto and values walls, the wall of fame, themed play areas, classroom and block signs, campus maps, fire exit signs and lobby screens. SpaceCrafter Studio designs, makes and installs all of it.

The crest wall

The first wall a visitor faces in reception. Layers of white relief rise as hills, preserved moss in two greens runs along the ridges, and the school crest sits at the centre, where every visitor's eye lands.

The underwater play area

The space under a staircase became an ocean. Printed graphics wrap the walls and pillars with a shark, an octopus, jellyfish, turtles and coral, around amphitheatre steps and green turf.

Pillars, planters and risers

The graphics carry on over the planter faces and the step risers beside the ball pit, so the whole corner reads as one place for the youngest children.

How it works

How does a school project run?

  1. Walk the campus

    We walk the gate, lobby, corridors and play areas with you and mark every wall and sign position.

  2. Design one system

    Crest walls, values walls, wayfinding and safety signs drawn as one set in your colours and crest.

  3. Sample and sign off

    Materials, colours and print samples approved by your management before anything is made.

  4. Make it in-house

    Fabricated in our own Bengaluru factory by the team that drew it.

  5. Install around your calendar

    We plan installs around your calendar: holidays, weekends or after school hours.

  6. Add each year

    When the wall of fame needs this year's names, we can come back and add them.

What does school branding and signage cover?
Everything people read or see on the walls of a campus: the name on the gate and facade, the reception crest wall, motto and values installations, walls of fame, themed play areas, classroom, block and floor signs, campus maps, fire exit and assembly point signs, LED notice boards and school bus branding. SpaceCrafter Studio designs, makes and installs all of it with one team.

How much does school signage and branding cost?
It depends on the scope: one crest wall and a full campus signage system are very different budgets. Send photos of the spaces on WhatsApp and our team responds within one business day with a plan and an indicative budget. Our rate card lists indicative rates for common signage work at spacecrafter.studio/rate-card.
How long does a school project take?
A single feature wall and a campus-wide signage system run on different timelines. After we walk the campus you get a schedule for design, sign-off, fabrication and installation, and we plan the installation around your school calendar, such as term breaks and weekends.
Are the materials safe around young children?
Tell us who uses each space and we choose materials and fixings for it. At a child's height we avoid sharp edges and loose parts, and we share the material details of every piece before you approve it. If your school or architect has a specification, we build to it.
How long do printed wall graphics last, and how do we clean them?
That depends on the material and where it sits. A wall children touch every day needs a harder-wearing finish than a double-height wall above their reach, and we specify for that. At handover we tell you how to clean each surface.
Can a wall of fame be updated every year?
Yes. We plan a wall of fame with space and a fixing method for new names, photos and results, so adding a year does not mean redoing the wall.
Can you work with our architect or interior designer?
Yes. We can build from your architect's drawings and finishes, or design the branding and signage ourselves and share the drawings for their review. Either way, our own team fabricates and installs it.
