In 1989, when neon lights flickered and hand-painted signs ruled the streets, a visionary named Rakesh Kingar saw something most didn’t—the power of signage to not just inform, but to transform spaces and tell stories. And so, Aarkay Signs was born, a humble workshop with big dreams, crafting signages that stood the test of time (and Bengaluru’s monsoons!).
For over a decade, Aarkay Signs became the go-to signage powerhouse, evolving beyond just boards and letters. By 2010, what started as a signage shop had turned into a full-fledged creative studio, specializing in wall graphics, architectural branding, and wayfinding solutions—helping brands make bold statements in concrete jungles.

By 2015, it was time for an upgrade. Aarkay Signs leveled up from a proprietorship to a private limited company, setting its sights on bigger challenges, larger projects, and cutting-edge technology. The world of signage was changing, and so were we.
Now, in 2025, we’re not just crafting signs—we’re crafting experiences.
