The Challenge
Still Coffee had a strong identity rooted in slowness and intention. Their interior palette leaned into warm materials, clean lines, and natural textures. The challenge for us was twofold:
- Build a signage system that complements — not competes with — the architecture.
- Create visual communication that feels human, soft, and non-intrusive.
- Maintain premium material quality without overwhelming the space.
- Ensure clarity and function while preserving the café’s calming energy.
- Every element had to look like it belonged.
Our Design Approach
We approached this project with three guiding principles:
1. Material Honesty
We chose finishes that felt natural and grounded — muted metals, soft glows, clean cut lines, and textures that quietly enhance the space. The signage was designed to feel like a part of the architecture rather than an add-on.
2. Human-Centric Clarity
All typography and iconography were kept minimal and intuitive. No loud arrows, no harsh contrasts. Just simple, functional guidance that feels almost invisible.
3. Spatial Harmony
Every decision was made with the café experience in mind — from the entrance signage to the menu board to the door stickering. The goal was to merge graphic communication with spatial calm.
